Pukehou School is proud to be a Green Gold Enviro-school We have won this award twice. Firstly in 2006 and again in 2009. We began our environmental journey in 2003 and have since won numerous awards including the Norsewear Conservation Award, Hawke's Bay Environmental awards and The Landmarks Trust excellence award. In 2009 we were also given solar panels from Genesis Energy. one of only 3 schools in Hawke's Bay and the smallest school in New Zealand to be awarded these. Education for Sustainablity is embedded in our school curriculum and our ethos and we are well known and highly regarded for the work and education we do in this area.
